Over the course of 20 minutes, Theater Kids follows 40 courageous young students as they move through auditions, rehearsals, and the final performance of their school play, Seussical Jr..

For four months, these fledgling actors and set designers commit themselves to a shared goal, developing not only discipline and work ethic, but a deeper sense of confidence and belonging. What begins as nervous energy transforms into trusting the process.

Through moments of courage, cooperation, and hilarity, the film captures a full spectrum of human emotion. As the students take the stage, they aren’t just performing, they are discovering who they are, together.
